The Minister of Higher Education to the need to build scientific capacity necessary to accommodate the technologies related to renewable energies all the spectrum and the increased attention to scientific research in all areas related to these energies and to ensure coordination and integration between the institutions of the State services, education and research and industry to provide the proper environment for the use of renewable energy in all state facilities.
The minister pointed out, Barakat system of higher education made great strides in preparing educational programs for professional and research on renewable energies and the various levels in order to create the scientists, engineers and technicians to the industry's future as it was the opening of several programs in renewable energies to undergraduate in the faculties of mechanical and electrical engineering and engineering technology as well as in intermediate institutes and the opening of graduate programs for master's and doctorate to the same disciplines in these colleges.
Creation of centers of excellence research and training in the field of renewable energies in Syrian universities
